Ever since the premiere of the fourth campaign, recently appointed game master the talented storyteller has kept viewers on edge with rich lore, a colorful mix of characters, and a exciting storyline showcasing angels, demons, and malevolent powers growing in strength within the city.
Warning: Revealing details for the latest installment of Campaign 4 are included.
The Combat-Oriented Party Unveiled
The third episode finished on a major cliffhanger and revealed the first table of heroes who will split off from the primary party to undertake their separate journey, apart from the additional parties.
This warrior group includes the determined fighter (portrayed by the voice actor), the nimble rogue (Laura Bailey), the strong-willed figure (Whitney Moore), Wicander Halovar (Sam), and Kattigan Vale (Robbie).
Dividing the Cast
With a large ensemble, it was obvious from the start that maintaining everyone at one table would be unworkable.
Hence, the opening chapters of Campaign 4 serve as an Introduction, intertwining the individual narratives before branching into three smaller tables: Fighters, Schemers, and Questers.
Characteristics of the Combat Party
Per the DM, the Soldiers table is for participants who enjoy a typically action-packed fight-heavy gameplay experience where diplomatic options are rare.
Initially, figures such as the squeamish cleric Wicander Halovar might appear unsuited, but the actions of the third episode demonstrate why these particular heroes are ideally matched for the Soldiers table.
Why They Must Go
To begin with, the group has a clear idea where to proceed after a violent initial meeting with The Crow Keepers.
Casimir of Thjazi—whose passing kicked off the narrative’s action—exploited the foes for his own means, invading Thjazi’s hideout, assaulting the character, and swiping all the powerful objects to dispose of.
The antagonist then cleared his obligations and fled to a secure base in the remote area, above the city, with Teor’s brother hot on his heels.
Personal Motivations
Additionally, each member has a individual motive to depart the metropolitan area:
- The rogue, as the close ally and trusted friend, desires revenge.
- Kattigan knows the northern area and advises that it is a dangerous environment.
- Tyranny and Wicander, having disobeyed his family’s wishes to kill Teor and instead rescued him, have nowhere else to go.
- However, their position as important members in the powerful family could enable the team reach places they normally couldn’t.
- Additionally, The fighter swore a life debt to Wicander for his deliverance and will now go with him anywhere.
Wanted and Hunted
In addition, all of them are wanted by the authorities that control Dol-Makjar for a multiple motives, making staying in the city no longer safe:
- The agile adventurer and Kattigan are recognized lawbreakers.
- The warrior and Wicander turned against the influential house and the horde of evil beings they are aligned with.
- The fighter is wanted dead by House Halovar.
This results in them little choice but to journey toward the remote area in quest for the antagonist.

Based on the recent installment’s follow-up content, we learn that the Soldiers table will not appear next week, leaving the remaining eight cast members to form the Explorers and Strategists tables.
